Oh Mona I love this, you have got a wonderful feel of movement in the fish and in the kelp - you are a clever girl...
Last night paddling huge waves of seagulls rose off the sandbank at the river mouth and did an amazing wavy dance backwards and forwards through the sky - fluid - like your work. - merging and breaking into groups then reforming...I was in awe...

Thank you Delwyn!..you have another precious memory to keep..I have seen these waves of birds and I have always thought to make a painting one day of sparrows gathering for the winter move, this phenomenon you see every year in Holland thousands of birds in massive waves in the sky and noise so loud!.. then they settle down in the tree's for the night and do the same thing again the next day till they are all ready and strong to fly long distance..I love that time of the year.

I love your painting Mona of the fish and kelp ~ it really does look like the fish are swimming.

Enjoy your weekend

That painting really does capture the sense of movement of the kelp swaying in the seawater! How cool! :)
